Services
SARL Guillaume Fourrier provides professional guided recreational and sport sea fishing experiences by boat as part of outdoor sporting and leisure activities.
Every trip is conducted by an experienced and qualified professional Fishing Guide.
The Fishing Guide provides tuition and coaching in sport fishing techniques.
The booked service corresponds to the option selected by the Customer on the Website.
The available packages are:
- Full-day guided fishing trip
- Private boat charter
A private charter allows the Customer to book the entire boat and to participate alone or with accompanying guests, up to a maximum of five persons, including the Customer.
Applicable prices are those published on the Website on the date the booking is made.
Each guided trip includes:
- the guided fishing experience.
- welcome on board;
- trip briefing;
- personal safety equipment;
- transport to the fishing grounds;
Organisation and Schedule
Bookings are made directly with the Fishing Guide, who determines the meeting point for each trip.
For shared fishing trips, all participants must arrive at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time.
Delays, Absence, Cancellation and Postponement
Customers are required to arrive at the agreed meeting time.
Once a booking has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled and remains payable.
However, subject to the availability of the Fishing Guide, the booking may be rescheduled provided that the Customer requests the postponement at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure.
Any delay by the Customer will automatically reduce the duration of the fishing trip by the corresponding amount of time.
Should the Fishing Guide be delayed, the lost time will be added to the end of the trip whenever possible.
A fishing trip may be cancelled by SARL Guillaume Fourrier up to six (6) hours before departure if weather or sea conditions make the trip unsafe.
In such circumstances, Customers will be informed by telephone, SMS or WhatsApp message, and the trip will be rescheduled.
SARL Guillaume Fourrier shall not be held liable for delays or the non-performance of a service resulting from force majeure, including but not limited to severe weather, accidents or any event beyond its reasonable control.
In such circumstances, the Customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and the trip will be rescheduled.
Physical Condition
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit to participate in a recreational sea fishing activity.
SARL Guillaume Fourrier cannot be held liable for:
- the aggravation of any pre-existing medical condition that has not been disclosed before the trip, including back, joint or muscular disorders caused or aggravated by sea conditions;
- allergic reactions to sunlight, seawater or any other undisclosed medical condition or sensitivity.
Customers remain solely responsible for informing the Fishing Guide of any medical condition that may affect their participation.
Electronic Devices and Geolocation
The fishing grounds used during the guided trips are the result of many years of prospecting, observation and professional experience.
Protecting these fishing grounds helps ensure the long-term quality of the services provided to all Customers.
Customers agree not to record, use or disclose GPS coordinates, tracks, waypoints, routes or any other information capable of identifying the fishing grounds visited during the trip.
In order to protect these fishing grounds and preserve the long-term quality of the guided fishing experience, the Fishing Guide reserves the right to require that personal electronic devices remain switched off during all or part of the trip.
This requirement may apply to, but is not limited to:
- mobile phones;
- smart watches;
- portable GPS devices;
- tablets;
- laptop computers;
- cameras equipped with GPS functions;
- smart glasses;
- or any other device capable of recording or storing geographical location data.
The practical arrangements for applying these measures are described in the On-board Guidelines.
On-board Rules
Customers must wear clothing suitable for an outdoor marine activity.
Their clothing must be appropriate for cold weather, wind, rain and sea spray.
Customers are responsible for taking all reasonable precautions regarding their own health and safety.
They must comply at all times with the instructions given by the Fishing Guide, particularly those relating to safety on board.
Where a shared trip involves Customers who do not know each other, any request to return to port early for personal reasons may only be accepted with the agreement of all Customers on board.
If such an early return results in significant additional fuel consumption or reduces the duration of the fishing experience for the remaining Customers, SARL Guillaume Fourrier reserves the right to request financial compensation from the Customer who requested the early return, corresponding to the loss suffered.
Acting on behalf of SARL Guillaume Fourrier, the Fishing Guide may immediately terminate the Booking Agreement, without notice or compensation, if a Customer behaves in a manner that is inappropriate, offensive, dangerous or otherwise unacceptable.
Failure to comply with the provisions relating to the protection of fishing grounds, electronic devices or any geolocation equipment may result in the immediate termination of the trip, without any entitlement to a refund.
SARL Guillaume Fourrier accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage or immersion of personal belongings belonging to Customers.
Duration and Validity of the Booking Agreement
The Booking Agreement ends:
- once all booked sessions have been completed;
- or when the period allowed to complete the sessions has expired due to an act or omission by the Customer.
If the Booking Agreement is only partially fulfilled, the full price remains payable to SARL Guillaume Fourrier, unless the partial performance results from an act or omission attributable to SARL Guillaume Fourrier.
The Customer may not suspend or terminate the Booking Agreement except in cases of force majeure, such as a medical emergency or an accident.
In such circumstances, SARL Guillaume Fourrier will refund any fees paid for fishing trips that the Customer is unable to attend.
The Booking Agreement may not be transferred by the Customer without the prior written consent of SARL Guillaume Fourrier.
Prices and Payment
The price of the booked service is guaranteed for the duration of the Booking Agreement.
All prices displayed on the Website are expressed in euros (€), including all applicable taxes.
The Customer agrees to pay SARL Guillaume Fourrier before the start of the fishing trip.
A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid once the Fishing Guide confirms that weather and sea conditions are suitable, generally between two and five days before the scheduled trip.
Where a private charter has been booked, the Customer who made the booking will receive a single invoice and remains solely responsible for paying the full amount, even if they have personally organised a group of participants.
Insurance and Liability
SARL Guillaume Fourrier recommends that every Customer takes out personal accident insurance covering participation in recreational sporting activities.
SARL Guillaume Fourrier has taken out professional liability insurance covering its legal responsibilities.
SARL Guillaume Fourrier may only be held liable where a direct causal link is established between gross negligence on the part of the Company in performing the Booking Agreement and the damage suffered by the Customer.
In particular, SARL Guillaume Fourrier shall not be held liable for:
- accidents resulting from the Customer’s failure to follow the Fishing Guide’s instructions;
- accidents occurring outside the guided fishing sessions or advice provided by the Fishing Guide;
- events resulting from force majeure.
Indirect losses, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of profit or any consequential financial loss, shall not be compensated by SARL Guillaume Fourrier.
Customers are liable for any material damage or personal injury resulting from their own voluntary or involuntary actions.
Any equipment damaged by a Customer (excluding normal wear and consumable accessories) must be reimbursed to SARL Guillaume Fourrier.
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless SARL Guillaume Fourrier against any claims, legal costs, damages or liabilities arising from their own actions, negligence or misconduct.
